Hey lefty freak-a-zoids, did you know that Obama doesn’t have an American Birth Certificate? That means the Democratic Party couldn’t find one suitable candidate out of a pool of 305 million people. 30.5x10^6:0 people of American citizenship can be elected in America as a Democrat.

@NoFearPup: I’m sure you’re a troll but… I’m pretty sure Hawaii is part of the U.S.[1]. Ironically, given misinformed trolls like yourself, it was John McCain who was not a natural born U.S. citizen (being born in Panama[2]) and who was therefore on shaky legal ground regarding his eligibility for presidency. Using your logic then, clearly the GOP couldn’t find a suitable candidate (disclaimer: I think McCain was a fine candidate before he tarnished his reputation through his campaign tactics).

    Please troll elsewhere, thanks.

Hey look Obamas got legs! I thought Trudy would make him an exclamation point or maybe an ampersand, with an Imam’s turban on his head, or maybe with a marlboro smoking and stinking up the joint hanging out of his non-existent mouth! Any other ideas for the genius cartoonist to add to his lurid, ugly, mean-spirited cartoon? How about a condom? A liberal Trojan skipping around the oval office reading a Heather has Two Mommies book? Teaching children how to ignore what the preacher says for 10 years? Dont quit Trudy we need your genius to enlighten us for the next 4 years.

@NoFearPup: Ah, I see the problem. You see, journalists have this thing about not printing things they can’t prove, they call it “fact-checking.” Thanks to that habit (which you would do well to develop my young lad), we can infer that any facts printed are more likely true than not. Further, the very best papers (e.g., The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, USA Today, et cetera) like to perform very thorough “fact-checking” and one can be nigh certain that everything they print is factually correct (otherwise think of the face they’d lose!).

Did your teachers show you the word “grandiloquent” yet?

@NoFearPup: Your first post is flat out wrong. On all points.

    Obama produced a birth certificate.

The Democratic Party found several suitable candidates, and the primary process narrowed the field and ultimately selected one candidate to run.

    305 million is 305x10^6 (or 30.5x10^7), but not 30.5x10^6

The rest of your posts descend into screed, name-calling, and innuendo, and come across as worrisome if not downright dangerous. Anyway, that’s why, after careful thought, I too flagged most of them as inappropriate.

P.S. - I flagged WickedCrazy too, as referring to the POTUS as a condom is just plain uncalled for.

If mom is a citizen at the time of birth, the child is a citizen. It doesn’t matter if the kid was born in the states, a US Territory, Burkina Faso or lower Earth orbit.

(FYI, I’m a strong conservative who grooves on Thomas Sowell and NRO.)

On topic…the axe in Dubya’s helmet is a new addition - perhaps it came from the free-market types who stood against the bailout? Personally applied by Mr. Newt?

I wonder what the Obama icon will look like. A laurel wreath would be in keeping with the Greek columns. Or maybe an acorn :-)

We’ll never know what the McCain icon would have been…

WickedCrazy you are quite right. Everybody has a right to their opinion. However, as you point out, Obama isn’t yet the president. So it’s tough to call him useless. He hasn’t yet had the eight years to show if he’s useless or not. Bush now, that’s a different story.

Longtimecomicsfan - Obamas campaign produced a certificate of “live birth” and not the original birth certificate. The release of Obamas birth certificate is contigent on BHO’s permission and he has not given it. The hospital must defer to his wishes so any validation on their part is suspect. Flagging of what people? In the four or so weeks I’ve been reading and leaving comments I have seen worse than anything I have said here. Do I have to go and cut and paste on GlennMcCoy, Chuck Asay, State of the Union, etc. and post it here for you people to realize what hypocrites you are?

If either parent holds U.S. citizenship, you are a U.S. citizen. If neither parent is a U.S. citizen, but you are born on U.S. soil (and this includes the grounds of U.S. embassies anywhere), you are a U.S. citizen.

John McCain and Barack Obama are both U.S. citizens and I would be proud to support either of them.

In this most recent election, the bottom line is this: the Bush administration so thoroughly screwed up that a young (but intelligent) mixed race (Halfrican-American is a term I’ve heard used) intellectual (Adlai Stevenson was smeared for being intelligent) with a middle name of Hussein and a first name that rhymes with Osama, can be elected.

I’ve heard every negative in my previous paragraph used as a reason to vote against our new president, and I thank God (yes, Him) that Americans were basically able to see through the BS and vote for someone new. It tells me we haven’t given up hope.

Pup, do more studying and less arguing for the sake of arguing.

wndrwrthg - Wonderful Warthog, my one regret is I took a shot at you (I thought I was being ganged up on by “Libs” - your comment was funny and appropriate - and your creative avatar is …unique.); I apologize sincerely - I removed my comment.

Akenta - Do you consider yourself a “lefty freak-a-zoid”? Name-calling goes on quite a bit here - I consider it a quick and concise way to delineate our positions. I was trying to pick a fight - I thought that was why we are all here; for positive and negative criticism. And for a little FUN.

Tigger - The war of links: This issue has just been rejected by the Supreme Court… The elites have solved the question for us. The question of PE. Obama’s citizenship will only be settled by the release of said document. The left-media tool Salon.com has already excused even not revealing said document: “If the long-form birth certificate were released, with its unequivocal identification of Hawaii as Obama’s place of birth, the cycle would almost certainly continue.[of conspiracy innuendo] ” -Salon.com The issue will continue to be clouded by Bureaucratic legalese: Fukino said she has “personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.” http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/bornin_theusa.html

This document has been “sealed” by the Governor of Hawaii. That is a legal term - no one is able to see and view this document and, this is key , no one has the legal authority to describe this document accurately beyond Obama himself. And this level of restriction is unusual see: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=79174

Now, isn’t it quicker to just call each other by carefully-chosen, nasty names?

    The End. Maybe…

The issue of a birth certificate is moot. If ANY of your direct ancestors were U.S. citizens, you are born with U.S. citizenship. (Civics class - used to teach it). Obama’s mother and maternal grandparents and probably beyond for several generations were citizens, ergo, he is. Also, he was obviously born, since he is now alive (Now we’ll have the alien abduction conspiracy nuts chiming in). The only people who benefit from this argument are the lawyers who will argue any issue if you pay the bill. (And if you don’t, they’ll sue you.)

Good Mea Culpa, young troll; there may be hope for you. Merry Christmas all.
