In re: yesterday’s comment by Mr. Doty. Sir, the reason they call you Mr. Obvious or Captain Obvious is that you point out things that are clear to nearly everyone who reads the strips. I don’t say this to be judgemental, and I’d suggest that if you didn’t make those comments, most of your other posts are quite informative and entertaining. I’d also like to say thanks to you for your service in Viet Nam.

Y’all had a good time ragging on Joe yesterday, but since it was after I left the forum I didn’t see any of it until today. I’d just like to say I like Joe and see much less harm and malice in him than I see in his detractors.

I like his comments. You can sometimes learn something and if you already know what he’s saying, just skip to the next one.

I enjoy many of Mr Doty’s posts also. He does on occasion make some posts that I don’t care for, but the majority are interesting and a good read.

He also has a good reason for those of his posts that are less than worthy, he is an older man and has suffered a head injury.

I agree with Maizing. I’ve just recently joined Ucomics, and have enjoyed the comments. Doty and I must have something in common other than being Okies, as he comments on almost all the ones I read, or maybe he reads all of them. You must have hurt his feelings as I didn’t see a single comment from him this morning. Hope he just slept in or has gone on Thanksgiving vacation. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Isn’t that the way it is Mr Doty? The plan, I think, is to deny as many benefits as possible.

Given how hard it is for a deserving person to be approved, I am constantly amazed at how anyone can get benefits fraudulently.
