Man: My name's Ed Crenshaw, and I guess I'm representin' the Okies who couldn't be here today! You may've heard that the widow Doonesbury had herself a lot of admirers... frankly, I think a few of them boys was mostly interested in her back forty. But the rest of us saw somethin' special in Daisy! Of course, this ain't the place to talk about sex... Mike: Wow, Ed! When you're right, you're right!
A local old-timer artist arranged his own going-away party (sort of a wake) at a restaurant, but was too ill by then to make it. We all enjoyed the stories about him, as we celebrated his life. A very few days later, he dropped the body.
I’d kinda like to do that, too - the party part, anyway! The timing is the crucial part, though…
