Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau for May 17, 2012
Transcript:
Zipper: Hey, dude, if Romney doesn't come through with a job, could you? Aren't you a job creator now? Jeff: Well, yes, but job creation isn't easy, dawg. Even with record profits, you have to be in the mood. Right now, we job creators just aren't feelin' it. Too many job-killing taxes and job-killing regulations and job-killing bills from Obama. Zipper: I had no idea. Jeff: Oh, it's crazy! Who wants to create a job that's just going to be killed?
The main reason for the non-recovering recovery is that most of the business community is scared into immobility by Obama’s anti-business policies and rhetoric. Trudeau is trying to make that fact sound ridiculous, but it’s still true.
