Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau for July 30, 2012
Transcript:
Alex: Hi, everyone! As Sunday readers already know, today is a big day in the history of "Doonesbury"! After 42 years as the title character, my dad is handing over controlling authority to a new generation, i.e., me! Job one? Freshening the stale, aging hippie vibe by introducing fresh, new characters, themes and arc! We're even changing the strip's name! Mike: Uh... sweetheart? That's not going to happen. Alex: Sure it is! We're changing it to "What Up, Alex?"
So why does Trudeau draw such weird noses? They look like pig snouts.
