Forfeit the game and get out of town before they start testing.

@Mike31gIn the last panel, not only is number 10 named Dowling but number 30 is named Hill. Calvin Hill was a running back at Yale, one year ahead of Trudeau. He went on to have a very successful 12 year professional career. His wife, Janet, was a college roommate of Hillary Clinton. His son, Grant Hill, played in the NBA.

Very observant of the previous commenters to notice the names on the unis. I couldn’t read them until I zoomed the strip. Love the dart gun idea and the implication that the kid knows he has one and knows where he keeps it.

Yes, the names are sort of dated now. Bill Kilmer and Mike Thomas (Redskins) turned into Brian Dowling and Calvin Hill (Yale.) BD (Brian Dowling did play for the Redskins.

Always likes the football huddles and benches. I might not know if any of the names on the jerseys refer to anyone – but the panels were always fun and interesting.

When the Dallas Cowboys drafted Calvin Hill in the first round of the 1969 NFL draft, he had the distinction of being the first Ivy League player to be drafted in the first round.
