Consider just HOW long She’s been “Chasing” Him, couldn’t Duke have Honey arrested as a “Stalker”?

Is it possible that the guy who’s been talking to Duke is Honey’s son by Duke?

Duke appears to be well on his way again here. Spiking the Gatorade, field trip to the frontal lobes, maybe if I show him my luger ……….. I predict a trip to the locked ward in the near future.

Doonesbury was so much better a quarter of century ago. GT: take a hint: it’s best to quit when you’re still at the top.

Duke, the GM of the Washington NFL team and the former chief US diplomat to China, was asked to speak to an incoming class of Chinese exchange students at Georgetown University. There is no Phred here, who happens to be Vietnamese. Phred was serving as Vietnam’s ambassador to the UN at the time this strip was originally published.

I was reading this strip when I suddenly had this sense of déjà vu… Like I had read it before… Like 36 years ago… Hey wait! Was this déjà vu or just artistic greed?

How many times did we read the peanuts strips and all the rest of them? Quit yer beefin folks who don’t like the classics. You don’t have to read them it is ok by me as well as all the others who love Doonesbury…

I can’t believe I forgot that line came from Duke. I’ve used it a few times since 1978. A few weeks back there was the classic “Go fetch my dart gun, boy” but the best all time has to be: “You invited guests?!” I think Doonesbury is still great but I’d love to see a couple of the old Sundays re-posted in readable form
