It may be that they declared Rev. Scot Sloan as an Episcopalian in the script, however, he was based on the real life William Sloane Coffin, who was an ordained Presbyterian and later ordained in the United Church of Christ. President Obama was also in the UCC.

That has to be one of the funniest final panels that I’ve seen in a long time. I really did laugh out loud.
The Rev. reminded me of my late cousin, who was a RC priest. He had a wry sense of humor. It’s exactly the type of thing he’s say.
