Wow, if J.J. was some sort of barnyard animal, she’d be the type of mother who refuses her to recognize her newborn, and push it away. Sobering thought. Hire her a “wet nurse”. Just the ticket!
And so begins Alex’s conflicted relationship with JJ.
She should just consider it another performance art piece.
Given that women stayed in the hospital close to a week after delivery back then, I would hope this wasn’t the first time Alex got fed.
