it IS true that there are different levels of “gayness” (for lack of a better word). so i don’t find it surprising when someone is mistaken gay. i had a chemistry teacher whom you would swear was a lesbian by they way she dressed (very butch) and comport herself. BUT, she was straight all the way. my cousin is the same way. i jokingly came up with a term to describe people like that: “one gene away for being gay.” that’s how my gay friends sometimes describe me…..

And it’s all covered by the ACA. Why, I’m raking in over a $100K a year on you alone.

Andy must be very uncomfortable with his neck bent 90 degrees that way.

Good thing for Andy he’s a cartoon character. (A beautifully written and well-drawn one.)

Housecalls were rare back in ’89 – but they are returning in a big way these days – by video chat. Apparently, having actual physical presence contact time with a doctor is no longer an efficient enough way to bill time anymore.

There is a company growing nationally that has a strictly house-call practice. My wife has been using one for about three years since her stroke. She is mostly seen by an NP or a PA but then so am I when I visit my doctor’s office. And she does see the supervising doctor once in a while. It works well since she does not drive and is mobility impaired as well.

He’s afraid of being stigmatized if the other doctors find out.

@Jeffiekins> Andy J. Lippencot was (and still is) far, far more than just a cartoon character from 25+ years ago.

RP, FYI, the ACA didn’t exist when this strip first appeared.
