I have wondered all these years if OJs high priced lawyers knew that he was guilty. Aren’t all lawyers officers of the court? That being true, and I do understand the adversarial idea of prosecutor v defense lawyer, if the lawyer knows beyond any shadow of doubt that his client is guilty of murder, and he gets him off, what responsibility does that lawyer have for society if he gets a murderer off? Law v justice. since only the rich can afford lots of high priced lawyers, doesn’t that mean we have 2 separate systems of laws? 1 for the 1% the other for the rest of us.
The real flaw in this story is that the Glove actually stays in an Evidence Locker until all the Legal BS is complete, then it gets Destroyed along with all the other evidence.
They really hate it when stuff like that ends up on E-Bay or Amazon.

I’ll be glad when this lame arc is over. I hope Sunday’s strip will be about the Biden/Harris victory.

I’m really looking forward to the day when even people of my generation will say “O.J. who?”.

I was never understand the fascination with the trial and after-effects. But then I’ve never been very in touch with my herd mentality.

You must know that in 1995, when this strip was run (these ARE re-runs, you know?), Biden and Harris were not running for the White House.
