Sounds like Zipper’s Dad is proud at the possibility of his son getting a girl in trouble.

I’m meeting a lot of parents lately that I must have missed the first trip through. Zip’s dad is another one. Do we know how Zip’s family is related to Zonker’s?

Never knew Zipper even had parents.

I was just watching MILDRED PIERCE (one of my favorite movies) on Vudu, and there’s a scene where Veda demands—and gets—$10,000.00 for her (fake) pregnancy. Now, it’s a million? Just goes to show how much the dollar has shrunk in the 20th-21st century!!

Zipper is Zonker’s nephew,is it his brother’s son or his sister’s son?

He got a girl in trouble. For a couple of minutes, then she ran away….!!

I never understood why Joanie, who seems a fine, upstanding person, produced two such worthless progeny, JJ and Jeff. Admittedly, Joanie was not around for much of JJ’s childhood and Rick did belittle Jeff a fair amount, but still, I think that Joanie must harbor some gene for worthless offspring. Grand-daughter Alex redeems JJ to some extent, but it does not look as though the story is moving fast enough nowadays for Jeff to produce a redeeming grandchild of his own (storyline hint for Trudeau?)

Oh, here we go, yet another arc about how lazy ignorant and entitled millennials are. I swear Trudeau sometimes sounds like Phil Slackmeyer.

Does Zipper’s dad have the wide eyes Garry uses to portray innocence, or is he shocked?
