And that’s why you should answer the first question with, “Yes, I will.” Saves time!

My cell is for outgoing calls, other than that it’s turned off. I liked it when electronic tethers were only for criminals.

Anticipation is killing me. Were there carrots in the fridge???

Usually the sound effect in comic strips is “Text Text Text.” But I do like “Typitty Type Type.”

If that was our house I’d never get a reply for my hubby would have gotten distracted by food in the fridge looking to see if there was carrots… so, instead of answering, he’d be standing there in front of a open fridge eating!

Haven’t had a cell phone since hubby passed away and don’t really miss it.

Just tell her you’re out of carrots. Worst case scenario, she buys some and it turns out you already have carrots. You can just claim you missed them because they were behind something else.

Sorry, I’m old enough to remember when you didn’t have the option of constant communication (most of that time without answering machines/voice mail) and never found a missed call that important.
Admittedly, when my wife &/or daughter are on the road I will keep it on if I’m not home (we still have a land line).
