Wally: Rowf (x53)
Ralph: ... Sigh...
June: ?
Ralph: There's nobody at the door, you dumb dog! Why are you barking?!
Wally: This has been a test of the emergency broadcast system...
Back then, we had the joke “Had this been an actual emergency, you would have been instructed to place your head between your knees and kiss your @$$ good-bye…”
Every local channel and our cable system has them constantly. Sometimes one ends and another starts. It is rare to go through a day without one and when one channel does a test all the channels have it over it.
Then again, when they tried to use the system for an emergency it did not work.

My old radio had two places marked on the dial with the emergency triangle to indicate where one would tune in the event of an actual emergency.
