Ralph: I hate underground parking garages! You drive around and around until you find a level with empty spaces... Then you have to go up a bunch of escalators and one of them is always broken! Sign: Please use the stairs
Sometimes the escalators are shut down because they are working on them. If the entire escalator is open it is very dangerous to be near and unusable as stairs as there are no steps. And once you see one open you really never trust them to ride on again.
