I hate Monday

I like Wally’s attitude!

Kinda like when you’re retired.

So five year old’s and dogs see the world the same way?

i wish i had a dog like wally.he sure knows how to have fun!

I wonder if he ever compared notes with Monday hating Garfield the cat.;-D

Yep. I’m retired and I still wish folks Happy Friday!!

Washed our teckel’s bedding of old sheets and towels. Took them out of the dryer prior to the cooling cycle and heaped them on floor. She promptly buried herself into them and was not seen for 25 minutes. One hot dog!

That duck looks familiar.

Or retired.

Before I retired (recently) I thought it would be like being a dog or five years old again. So far, it’s not. But it beats working.

It’s all in the attitude…..

DELETING…..YOU HAVE GONE TO THE DOGS!!!!

Most of the dogs that I’ve lived with much preferred weekends – “Our people are home, they can play with us, walk with us – this day will be interesting. Let’s start with a walk…” Now we’re retired, dogless, and I suspect the cat would prefer we went off to work and left him to spend most of the day his way – without human interruptions.

When I retire, I expect 6 Saturdays a week and only 1 Sunday. With so many projects to do around the house, interior and exterior, I will wonder how I ever had time to work an 8 hour job. When my father retired, my mother let my father keep the house and garden neat and orderly. I remember that the kitchen was immaculately clean.

As usual, Bob knows best.

Bob is a Zen master disguised as a rare South American parrot. If the sun were to come up in the West, Bob would not be fazed. Be like Bob!

When I was younger, much younger, every night was Saturday night, and every morning was Monday morning.

So what day is it to a duck?

I’ve said “everyday is like a Saturday” when you’re retired, when the company I worked for, for over 16 years decided to force me into retirement in 2016. I’ve never been happier since then.
