Don’t need one of those fancy motion – sensor lights. Not with Wally around.

Why? To keep the badgers away so Wally won’t bark all night.

The most effective burglar alarm has always been a yappy little dog.

I have a security camera in the back for the house. I have a motion sensor light to light up to area to have a better view if anyone should come on the premises at night.

I thought that was one of those things that could be programmed into siri or alexa (no caps ‘cause they aren’t real people/intelligences. . .)

I had the motion lights replaced on my garage. Unfortunately, the sensors cannot be moved and they are 12 ’ off the ground, so they don’t “see” much.

Ours go off during the night because of the rabbits. ( I hope)

I have them so I could see if anything was outside before letting the dogs out. Had a couple of incidents with skunks and possums. Sadly all of the dogs died within the last 18 months and I don’t bother to look anymore.

I have two motion sensors. Mini dachshunds. They sound like Great Danes when they bark.

My dachsie Killer was THE best watchdog of all 5 dogs. He could hear what was going on in the woods even.

We have about a 100 dogs in our neighborhood. Heaven help a miscreant that steps into a yard at night here.

Motion and light sensors are all good, as well as security alarms IMHO. People think having a dog negates the need for them, but as yet I don’t know to many that can dial 911.

I remember that our Dachshund sounded like a much larger dog when he barked… a very strong, deep “voice”. I’ve noticed other Dachshunds like that, so it must be common.

The motion lights are outside. I hope they don’t keep Wally outside at night.
