that’s the 2nd time Ralph didn’t see Steinbauer’s eyes.
I agree with with Steinbauer, keep your cookies
I guess that Ralph is smarter than I thought.
This used to be standard procedure for fruitcake.
A reminder of why I call him the anti-Wilson…
Isn’t there a never regift the gifter with the gifted gift rule somewhere?
Even when I lived in a small town in the midwest, this didn’t happen. Can’t imagine it happening today.
It’s the thought that counts?
Drabble won, so long as the chocolate chips aren’t Exlax.
The cookies still aren’t gonna make it back to the house… ☺
The same thing happens in Australia when neighbors give each other boomerangs for Christmas.
Regifting bites.
At least you tried, Ralph. But clearly Steinbauer’s not interested in being good neighbors.
What’s wrong with that, Ralph?
At least you’ll know what’s in them and how they taste…
: – ) A win, win, for you, who loves his wife’s cooking and baking more than anyone else’s….
You’re complaining?
I don’t think they trust each other.
Well, at least you’ll know what you eat. ☺
I wonder from whom did Ralph get the cookies:)
Well, he is a “Steinbauer”, so Christmas likely isn’t his thing.
Just go along with it. The way I see it, you get credit for delivering the cookies, bringing back reciprocal cookies, and don’t have to worry about being poisoned by Steinbauer.
There you go, Ralph. Just keep them and eat them yourself.
