Get a grip

“Irony” must be Ralph’s middle name….

That’s me with my cane as I try to get used to using it.

That’s why I have lots of them all around the house, not far to go to find another to pick up the one I dropped.

Drabble, must you mess up with the SIMPLEST THINGS???

Need a grabber for the grabber.

And that is why my wife has three.

They are handy.

I need to get one of those. They’re good for getting things off the top shelf.

That’ll come in handy when Wally drops his Tootsie Rolls in the yard.

The grabbers I have not only have the grabbing “jaws”, but it also has a hook for grabbing cables and cords, and also has a small magnet for picking up stuff. I keep one in every room.

This happened to my dad, who was in much more need of it than Ralph. Like a goof, he bent over to retrieve it. He broke vertebrae in the subsequent fall.

Kick it up so you don’t have to bend too far. Old trick.

Been there, done that!

Yup, same thing happened to me MULTIPLE times when my back problem was really bad a couple of decades ago.

I feel like playing Scrabble now that Drabble’s gonna grabble.

He needs a grabber with a tether and wristband for situations like this.

I am living this as we speak, and, scattered throughout my house are straightened out clothes hangers that can be used to “retrieve” dropped “grabbers”, canes, socks, other articles of clothing, etc. – I even have extra-long forceps to retrieve pills and the like…

He needs a grabber for his grabber. And maybe two or three more “Thumbs.”

I have an expandable magnet that I use every day to pick up nuts, bolts, washers etc. Sure save my back.

I wonder if she’ll kill him after her buns are blue.
