Offer her the elevator and you’ll wait for the next one, she isn’t into you Norman

Boy, Wendy, that’s real dedication to principles and prejudices. You could wait for Norman to finish using, then call it back and use it yourself. It’d still be quicker – and not as heart-attack-inducing! – as climbing 15 more flights of stairs.

Norm stopping on every floor? I guess I was right, he did push all of the buttons. Also about Wendy’s long hike. I wonder, what is so important on the 23rd floor?

You just don’t get it Norm: SHE CAN’T STAND YOU!

You’re wearing her down Norm

If I were Norm I would wait for her on the 23rd floor. Then ask her if she wants to take the elevator back to the ground floor, or does she want to take the stairs?

Let her take the dang stairs.

Wendy is so into you, Norm. She’s drenched with the sweat of passion!

The idiot is so dense, he’s gonna kill her. I think that’s stalking.

Added a couple of lines to the following – I’d rather have my blood sucked out by leeches (Leeches) – Shove an ice pick under a toenail or two I’d rather clean all the bathrooms in Grand Central Station with my tongue – Than spend one more minute with you

I rather gasp for air and take the stairs – Than spend one more second with Norman Drabble

I knew Wendy was never crazy about Norm, but I never knew she loathes him as much as she seems to now. Have I missed something in the strip?

Geeze is he that bad??

Leave her alone Norman, she’s training for the Empire State Building run, that one is ground floor to the observation deck. That’s to the 86th floor Norm.

Wendy is an awful person. Why would Norm continue to give her any attention?

looking at the bright side, Norm is happy and hopeful. never mind to nasty witch (who’s entitled to her opinion)

Say what you want about Norman, he gets Wendy all hot & bothered.

OMG, Wendy, are you as dumb as Norm?

Why would you not have waited for the next elevator???

Wendy can’t climb eight flights of stairs without collapsing? I’m 66 years old and I climb up and down my stairs 10 times briskly every day just for quick exercise.

Wendy, despite your concerns, dumbness is not catching. And frankly you have enough of your own.

Norm has a big heart. How anyone can be so kind after that sort of rejection is a mystery

Wendy is an awful character.

Wow! Wendy looks great when she’s exhausted. Norman might screw up sometimes, (Ok, most of the time), but he knows how to keep a girl to stay in shape. After all, everyone knows it “Windy!!” Whatever happened to that 60’s group, The Association?

That’s one way of Norman of keeping Wendy in Shape. After all, everyone knows it’s “Windy!!” Whatever happened to the 1960’s group, The Association?

Well, Norman isn’t that dumb. At least he knows math.

Makes you wonder how Ralph won over June. Then you realize some things you’re better off not knowing.

I’ve been reading this for decades, and I know Wendy’s disdain for Norm. But why this level of hostility? The first one was funny and consistent with their relationship. This one is just mean.
