We’re pretty sure that our first cat, Peekaboo died from repeated electrical shocks he received by chewing through power cords on vacuums, TVs, stereos, and lamps. He got sick and the vets could never pinpoint anything, but every so often, I’d notice he’d have a black mark along the side of his gums on one side or the other which would then disappear over the course of a week or so. I think it may have been his way of getting back at the evil vacuum cleaners which howled at him so horribly. Of course, he may have just been crazy. This is the same cat who thought that my sneezes were a direct order for him to attack the other 2 cats. Anyone else in the house could sneeze and nothing at all would happen, but when I sneezed, the fur would fly.
