In Denver there was an ice cream joint called Lox that made a Guinness-based ice cream with absolutely huge chunks of bitter chocolate in. My gods was stuff phenomenal!

Root beer floats are good, but only with vanilla. If you get too fancy with other flavors, they clash with the root beer.
