A couple years ago we were going to my grandsons wedding in Oregon. The protesters were blocking interstate 5 . You had to detour so you wouldn’t hit any of them. That wouldn’t happen in Florida. Troopers there would have arrested everyone and traffic would have taken care of stragglers.
This stuff actually happens. When I was an exchange student in Japan, the Japanese students went on strike in protest of the administration making notations on the transcripts of students who had gone on strike two years earlier. I lost an acadenic quarter and had to make it up in summer quarter, but that delayed me becoming eligible for the draft an extra 6 months, which in turn kept me out until the lottery was enacted where I got a high number. That strike may have kept me out of Vietnam.

It’s getting bad here. There are signs up to join in and force the city to fix our streets.

Whenever there’s a war protest I see signs that say, “Honk, for peace!” Which I’ve always considered to be an oxymoron!

Makes more sense than spray painting Stone Henge to protest Climate change.

You know that’s a really brilliant and effective protest. Close the only street to draw attention to the fact that they need more streets.

In Wichita they have an annual festival known as “Open Streets ICT.” They close Douglas Avenue downtown for the festival.

Time for a large speeding semi to drive the highway. It would clear the highway and begin cleaning the gene pool.
