Why didn’t he use the “go ask your mother” ploy?
Annnnd….that’s how Colin ended up the way he did.
What ever happened to “No” means “No”…..the reply should have been “your video game time can be reduced to 1/2 hour”.
I remember I used to tell my younger siblings that “no” means “no”—not “try harder.”
Colin, here, appears to need reminding of that himself.
I would have used the “Ask me once more and you’re grounded from video games for a week!” ploy.
If you say one more word about it, I will sell your gaming set up on Ebay.
