I had a great transistor radio when I was a teenager to young adult and I loved playing it while I walked. Sometimes with an earphone. But I wouldn’t want one like it now. Why have that when you can have an ipod or smart phone?
Long ago and far away, I was growing up in poor neighborhood of a large city. I was part of a gang that got together evenings on the steps of the factory down the street, sang DooWop along with the Murray the K and the submarine races.
No mountains, no future, glad to leave it all behind.

Even when it’s old and outdated, some days you can’t help but appreciate the classics of tech.
