I grew up with a nice fireplace, but my wife is severely allergic to most trees and wood smoke, so no winter fireplace for us. We can’t even have a live Christmas tree. So – we actually have a tv inside our fireplace with a variety of streaming fires. It’s actually very realistic – just no heat.
