Well, they say acceptance is the first step to recovery…but in this case, I think Len’s right to take up this accepting outlook as it’s probably better for his mental health. People get so hyper obsessed with their appearance these days it can’t possibly be healthy, and in a lot of cases also probably unachievable to accomplish, at least to the high degree they want. So settling for the more realistic viewpoints on it and accepting that is probably for the better.
That said, it does sound like Len could probably stand to eat healthier, whether he’s trying to loose the paunch or not, so maybe we can still get him working towards that. ;)

For Len, in this particular situation, the word “accept” sounds like it means “I can just let myself go.” Bad idea in so many ways.
