Don’t get the tree love thing. The electric company tries to remove them so they don’t fall on lines. People cry and scream: “Don’t touch our trees!” Then when they all fall on the lines and power goes out for a week, they blame the electric company for not doing anything!!
Sorry kids, the tree has become a danger to the house and needs to be removed. You don’t want it to crash on your roof, car or on people. There comes a time when you need to cut the branches or remove hazardous trees. When homes were first being electrified the power companies hung wires instead of burying them, so limbs need to be trimmed and/or trees removed or outages may occur. Even worse, untrimmed limbs fall on lines and cause fires like the Marshall fire in Colorado that destroyed 1,000 homes a couple years back. [ramble off]
