Pooch Cafe was a revelation to me. I discovered it through its Spanish version (and somehow the Spanish version seems funnier and more “real” than the English, though I’m a native English-speaker). Any comic where one of the animal characters can refer to Schroedinger’s Uncertainty Principle has got my undivided attention. The dialog is consistently witty, and often slyly audacious. A lot of political correctness suffers along the way, and that’s fine with me. Yea, Pooch cafe! Yea, Paul Gilligan!
