Good Sunday morning! I read a few comments that some of the multi-panels recently were used twice. I will definitely be more careful. As I posted yesterday late, I’ve noticed that some “gag concepts” were reworked and ran again in later years. Someone pointed that out yesterday where her dress was changed. Since Emmy Lou ran so long I think Marty might’ve used the old 7 year rule. The length of time until we forget! I’ve noticed some of this in the single panels as well but it’s easier to pick out. I will take better notice though. Thanx for pointing this out.
Also…I found some great colored Sunday multi-panels the other day. I’ll check with GoComics and see what it takes to post those. The last time their computer detected color we went gray!! Tough times there! The other issue could be clarity in the panels since they’re not originals or United Feature proofs. When Marty sent in her multi-panels she would take a colored ink pen and swipe each garment, car, etc with a color, however, the originals or proofs were never in full color. United Features handled that. I’ll check and see. It would be fun.
