I received several messages over the weekend inquiring about the book deal. Yes, I do still have books to sell. And here’s the pitch for all you newcomers (welcome, BTW!):The Endtown mini-comic that I produced for Comicpalooza 2011 is now available to YOU for the offensively low price of $2.50 (price includes s&h, international add $1 for each copy ordered ). Besides sporting a snazzy full color cover (http://tinyurl.com/3uytdhy), it contains an all-new 22 page story that is available nowhere else. And just because I feel like doing it, I’ll sign and personalize (if desired) each and every copy I mail out. Simply pay via PayPal using my email address, aaronneathery@gmail.com, and be sure to include your mailing address. If you can’t pay with PayPal, email me for my snailmail. And, just so you know, I’m completely open to donations. The cat and mouse that live in my head will thank you. :-)

I love that fourth panel! Holly claims that no one has ever caught her before. I really wonder how this is going to pan out. I also like the double meaning for “chase”…

Wally and Holly…… Not quite as catchy as Tom and Jerry, but close. :D

Definitely a direction I didn’t anticipate! But that’s what keeps this strip so interesting.

Did not see it coming either – yet, in retrospect, it’s so blindingly obvious. Good storytelling mark.

Makes you wonder if this is the one cat who will catch Holly. Though I have a sneaky suspicion that it won’t be solely to Wally’s efforts.

And after he catches her, then what?

I have a feeling that Holly had a furry fetish before the war.

That just came out of nowhere, didn’t it? I have been really enjoying how the characters have been looking these past few days. I have always enjoyed anthropomorphic drawings…

It makes perfect sense, actually. A cat’s instinct isn’t to EAT the mouse… it’s to CHASE the mouse. After all, cats don’t eat people’s fingers and toes as a rule, and they certainly chase THOSE often enough.

Just want to reiterate how glad I am that this strip is in monochrome, not color. Suits it perfectly. But then again, I always liked black and white photography back when I had my darkroom, too! More ‘artsy’ and ‘moody’.

Does My Cage take place a couple hundred years after Endtown?

DANGER, Danger- – -Will Robinson!”Holly, I don’t think that Wally will hurt you, but you ARE putting YOURSELF in danger!

I hope Wally has the sense to see she’s trying to help him, but ALSO to say “NO!”.

Great suspense, Aaron…I can’t wait till tomorrow.

    KUTGW,

    Noreen

Wow. Very emotionally intensive. Holly can be putting herself in a great deal of danger by doing this. But she did say that no one could catch her, and perhaps her efforts will be critical in helping Wally.

How long ago did you order it? I know there was a postal strike in Canada that delayed everyone’s shipments for a few weeks..
