That philosophy of “embracing one’s inner animal” must be leaving a really bad taste in Jacob’s mouth right now. He forgot about reaping what he’s sown.

Jacob wouldn’t be the first politician to go against their campaign promise

    Rats!

All that fire and smoke while being underground cannot be a good thing.

The simpler solution would be to open the ceiling vents to let in the 1 mile deep pile of ash, and smother the flames that way.

Yeah, and alert the Topsiders to their location. Good idea Three, so everyone can be dusted in one shot.

A song by SquirrelNutZippers comes to mind…www.bing.com/search?q=squirrel+nut+zippers+put+a+lid+on+it&qs=RI&pq=squirrel+nut+zippers+put+a+lid+on+it&sk=RI2&sc=3-36&cvid=471963CE12C94BDF91C8160DC4721B12&FORM=QBRE&sp=3

And someone has worked to make this happen. What are they trying to do—trying to show that Jackrabbit is an ineffective leader by burning down Endtown? I doubt this was engineered to cause a pogrom targeting wolves…but the wolves have been played to be the bad guys. Perhaps another group would have sufficed—but the wolves were handy. This is going to be really bad.

Human beings even when they have morphed into animals never really change, do they?

All that smoke heading out of the exhaust vents is akin to a bright, neon sign to the topsiders, “Hey! Here we are! Come destroy us!”

Well, if Jacob wants to save Endtown and keep his promise, perhaps his best bet is to ask Walt Trimble for help. He’s dealt with rioters before.

Jacob could offer to keep Heather safe while Walt reminds the rioters how he first “ran for office…”

Maybe getting the security rats involved was the goal, for some reason.

It seems that the rats feel safe to run around again. They have morphed into almost as big as the others by now, aren’t the silly little comedy relief they used to be. Which is good, they were cute and funny before, but having gained size have also gained respectability.

I might have missed a past storyline, but how did the rats screw up so badly last time? If Jackrabbit had to make a campaign promise to keep security out of the way…

It wouldn’t necessarily violate his promise if the Endtown Police actually REQUESTED the assistance of the Security force. Jacob’s a politician and manipulator. He knows there’s always ways to spin “promises.”

Was this guy named Freeman the last time the rats were around? I’m pretty sure he was the relatively-intelligent guy in charge of the rats who tried to stop Aaron Marx and failed…
