I’m having a hard time visualizing a chicken getting the best of a juvenile panther.

Love the 2-finger salute… someone’s spoiling for a punch-up.

I think Chick learned from Wally not to go looking for trouble. But here, it’s already found him and if he doesn’t deal with it now, there’ll be Heck to pay later.

So, if you lose the fight, they can then say they’re the boss of you?

Beat the tar out of him, Chick.

Weird they don’t have the normal number of digits.

Is there anyone in this group that is going to get the option of staying in this colony?

Chic’s friends shouldn’t sell him short; he knows a thing or two about fighting. Duffy is likely in for a surprise.

Chic’s more scrappy than they know. He used to take debilitating beatings from that lizard cook. Regularly. Not to mention whatever other random slaps from other passersby who’d do it ‘cause they could, and if he’d fight back, somebody would kill him for that. Probably a whole lot of pent up rage over those sassy, backhanded slaps.

He may or may not have the brunt to dish this out, but he can take it and likely outlast his opponent.

It’s not the size of the Chic in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the Chic.

Interesting – Chic’s enemy making a gesture that (AFAIK) only used to be used by the UK.

Side story – in the 80’s an American computer company had a two page spread showing a Winston Churchill lookalike giving the “V for Victory” sign.

They got it wrong.

Winnie was giving the reversed gesture (as above) – means approximately the same as the single finger…

What the other guy doesn’t know is that, for Chic, fighting is something you do to survive, not to show off. I have a feeling that Chic’s “style” is going to be far more brutal than anyone expects; he’s not going to fight “fair” and he’s not going to be satisfied with simply making the other guy look bad. He’s going to fight in a way that leads to maiming and death, if he’s not careful.

Chic is also probably full of a lot of rage considering his past.

Don’t make him angry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.
