It appears to me that Wally and Duffy are in two separate realities at this time. The problem with Wally’s eyes at the top of the ridge is probably when he changed zones.
Here are some observations I made on the November 4 strip. Enlarge it enough to examine the screen on the padd. There are two converging straight lines. One seems to represent the base of the cliff, and the other her direction of travel. The large circle is “You are here.” There is a small circle where the two lines converge. This is where our heroes are waiting for her. The “You are here” is right at the intersection of 2 realities. The destination circle is precisely at the intersection of 2 other realities. The detail Aaron puts into his drawings is amazing!
At first I thought the recorder was an empty cartridge type. Took a while to see that it’s some kind of reel-to-reel thing, and there’s a tape in there.
