Uh oh, looks like the gates are starting to show up everywhere! Wonder what is going to happen now?!?!

It’s like wearing a lab coat in a hospital, nobody ever questions anybody in a lab coat…

OK I am at 8:40 on 12/29 and based on comment age this just now. What time zone does Aaron live in?

Oh, crap. Everything that Topsiders see is through the video feed in their suits. The suits can use “enhanced reality” to generate false imagery (disguise the suits) when Topsiders look at each other. If “Eye” hacks the suits…“It” could turn off the video…or generate illusions…or commit who knows what other havoc. And that’s just the visuals.

Looks like a Topsider just saw Wally and Duffy and can’t believe his/her eyes (or video feed).

Reality is starting to manifest itself. The Topsider is seeing the real landscape of people in protective suits instead of the soothing illusion of normal humanity. The blurry gateway overlay in the video feed is puzzling.

Hmmm, The first panel would be the view at one of the surveillance cameras we saw when the Eye infiltrated. (Feb 9, 2020)

So, is this guy seeing the gate network because he was one of the ones involved with re-opening the gate, or is he seeing something projected by the Eye?

Or something else. In any case, it does not bode well

I suspect no one really knows in what direction Aaron is heading with this.

Wally and friends have been one step ahead of collapsing realities this whole arc. I think the collapse is catching up with them again. Hopefully, if they keep moving, they’ll wind up wherever the Marx brigade took the people from Eden. I’d assume their destination was somewhere stable untouched by Amesworth radiation. That radiation seems to have sparked the whole die-off of worlds on either side of their reality. Nature abhors a vacuum and seems to be erasing the dead zones.

Okay, I have to ask; “What’s the purpose of putting pictures of (several/different/the same) Topsiders all over the place? Is it a video display? If it is, and all the suits look the same, how can you tell they’re talking? Do they ‘nod up and down’ like in Red vs Blue to indicate they’re talking?”

This world’s history must have diverged in the early history of American settlement, if there is a different World Power. And the combination of retro and future technology is weird! Any thoughts?

Any guesses for how many volumes there will be when the whole story is done? Eight? Ten? Twelve?

Bears strong resemblance to Lin’s “mutation” – where he had multiple renditions of his face on all sides of his head. That mutation is also the thumbnail in the upper left hand corner of this page.

Wondering…what stops someone here from publishing links to kiddieporn and snuff films, or posting ‘Wolfboy I know you are Eddie Munster at 1313 Mockingbird Lane and I am going to kill you because you have a dorky haircut’. Who monitors these comments and what powers do they have?

ing Aaron Neathery’s name and snippets of the comments, I was able to google an 11 day old comment but not an 8 day old one…so this gives some ideal how often google indexes there pages.

Here comes the “Dental Cleaning Apparatus” invasion! Beats living in a world with giant pictures of some Schmuck in a biosuit everywhere you look!

Hmm. The top two panels take us back to the mysterious self-proclaimed eye ‘god’ of the gates who gained access to the topsider computer and security camera system (https://bit.ly/3rDTgKj and following day).

The next two panels are a bit more mysterious. In the last panel, we see the gate designs which Ravencroft drew on some walls in his home in Eden and left on his computer and on a piece of paper in the topsider base.

Q: Is the last panel presenting what topsiders now see, or what the eye ‘god’ now sees after hacking a topsider suit, or what the eye sees through one of the many cameras on the base?

Q: Is the topsider in the third panel reacting to reality, which the eye has revealed to them after hacking their suit, or does the gate in the fourth panel suggest that the eye ‘god’ has used a digital gate to replace one topsider with itself in the suit either in body or in spirit/mind?

Q: Or is something else going on that we haven’t figured out yet? :)

With the Holidays, I wonder if there is ANY partying in this universe. Certainly more subdued than we are used to, but at least SOME.

It’s hacking ALL their optics and making them look at that stuff. The stuff you are not supposed to stare at for too long… Has no real effect on mutants but you saw what happened to the Doctor. The entire AN COLONY just lost it’s sanity saving throw.
