Didn’t the Topsider explain that the animal characters heal quickly, which allows for antics with bombs, etc.?

Kind of funny that a strip about animals throwing bombs at each other showed up for me under an ad from PETA saying “the violence must stop.”

Well… okay then. Short arc this will be. Let me get out the “THAT’S ALL FOLKS!” end credit window up in front of the camera and we can all go read another comic instead. I wonder how Dick Tracy is doing…

It looks to me like the bomb is bouncing over the fence, following where Benny ran, and that is why Duffy looks so horrified.

Uh-oh… Duffy just realized he lost Chic’s pendant.

1-2-3-4… I think Duffy is about to exit left. Haunted by a ghost and then the realization he’s no different then the ‘thing’ that’s attacking them has been too much. I wonder if he’s about to short out and the grotesque creature will have a schism-rabid, furious lion to deal with?

Looking at it now, it looks like Duffy has discovered that his amulet has gone missing…
