OK, it’s been awhile, but when Dr. Amesworth was describing that the process of turning into anthros was when humans were being swapped with the “matching” life forms from an anthro cartoon universe, did she mention how the monster swap occurred? Is there also a monster universe, and the state of consciousness of the victim governed which swap occurred, or did this part never get addressed?
Some comments about them being monsters also imply they are mindless. However, I suspect these “monsters” still have their full mental capacities. We shouldn’t let simple appearances take precedence.
Interesting that he says they stand between the Anthros and their eventual annihilation…I thought it was the humans doomed (by his own admission) to become “Fairy Tales in stories told by Rabbits”.
Just because they’re hideous doesn’t mean they are mean, and, or bad, or killers. Maybe they just want to talk, but the animals just keep running away…

He is really short. How can it be that the suit still fits? That shouldn’t be possible.

Panel four makes me think of the ground crew in Star Trek, encountering the local monster population. Now let’s see… Who’s wearing a red shirt?

If the Project Eden folks are right, isn’t baseline humanity basically doomed anyway?
