Family reunion on the 4th. We had everyone put their tablets and phones in a bedroom and shut the door. We spent the entire day talking, playing and enjoying each other’s company. Even the teens had fun. I think this is a new tradition at our house.
H. G. Wells was right about the Eloi. He just thought it would take a nuclear disaster and several centuries to happen. Nope. All it took was a tiny, bright screen and shiny little buttons.
