I have actually been wondering if my husband would have wanted me to spread his ashes any place special? We discussed many things, but seemed to have missed that topic. He would probably be pleased if they could be spread over some Revolutionary or Civil War battlefield. He was really into history and lived his whole life in Maryland and Northern Virginia. He was a Revolutionary War reenactor and even got me into it for a while. Just before we met, he got to be part of the 1981 reenactment of the Victory at Yorktown (200th anniversary of the surrender of Lord Cornwallis and end of the war).
