I did all the Chicago Tribune crosswords in ink. So did my Dad. Except the one they’d put in the Sunday magazine. That one required considerable thought.

It’s a group effort. Though, it can take longer than a game of Monopoly.

I like the hard crosswords. The book I am doing right now is moderately difficult.

I love the PennyDell challenger XW puzzles. some of them I can fill in the entire thing, others, not a one.

Saturday (NYT) puzzles are the hardest. Sunday are just big .

I love crosswords that are just “words” and not names of people in Hollywood or TV shows or movies or other arts… just WORDS !!!

I do mine in ink too, sorta. I do mine on-line.

I grew up with books of NYT Sunday crosswords in the bathroom. I honestly can’t remember if there was a pen or pencil with it, but I do remember watching dad always do the crossword in ink.

I do the NYT crosswords every day, online, but I skip Monday and Tuesday — they’re a little too easy. Keeps me sharp.
