Reverse psychology?

I think Cher had her tattoos removed for the same reason.

I never got one, because I couldn’t decide, and lost the motivation.

Wearing a shirt and tie is considered pure subterfuge. Probably the wrong word but it sounded profound.

Wife once filled out a form concerning me. In the identifying marks she put ‘No tattoos.’

Yeah it’s rare to see someone without a tattoo these days.

I taught at a small charter school from 2005-2010, came back in 2013 and retired in 2022. The employee handbook stated if a teacher or aide had a tattoo, they were expected to cover them up even if it meant using bandages. I recently visited the school and was surprised how prevalent tattoos had become and the handbook had no reference to them anymore. I asked around and found out so many teachers have them and there’s such a teacher shortage that tattoos are no longer considered a detriment to being hired.

..everything goes in cycles. Tats will soon be uncool again, and the generation that got them will be recognizable in their old age by their “bruises”..

All of the cast members of The Lord of the Rings who portrayed members of the Fellowship got a tattoo of the runic 9. I cannot recall if the tattooing took place before, during or after the movies were filmed.
