    I’d call it just plain politeness no matter the age. I’d say that maybe what & how they taught being polite is coming thru, something I think is lacking in how kids are taught.

    Why do people have to rename everything? In high-school, being a senior was the ultimate status. Being senior tech / worker means you are in charge. I see nothing disrespectful about being a senior much less a citizen.

    On the other hand, being called an old geezer or a boomer seems very disrespectful. Let’s stop twisting language around until it is no longer recognizable.
