I don’t even want to know what’s so F-minus-ish about an idiot lane.

The people who get into line before a merge point are considered to be idiots by the true idiots who run up as fast and far as they can before slowing everyone in the ‘idiot lane’ down by forcing themselves into a small gap at the front. Sometimes, this results in accidents that brings everything to a screeching halt, literally. It is not illegal to bypass the courteous and thoughtful, but it is immoral, unethical, and rude.Respectfully,C.

It would probably work better, if they made it the left lane. That’s where we find most of the idiots – poking along at less than the speed limit, usually going side-by-side someone else at roughly the same speed.

In Chicago, the left lane is for idiots who are one-man traffic jams.

Ray CovThey don’t need lesson plans since they only can teach the test. The rest of their time is spent watching TV movies where bombs all have digital displays counting down the time to detonation. Real bombs, of course, don’t tell things to help disarm them. And besides, clocks run the other direction. But since this is not on the test, they don’t have to know details like that.

I think a lot of people don’t let the side slippers in because they have the right away, the one merging in is at fault if there is an accident.

I have a Dash cam, big metal rack on the front of my F350…if a side slipper comes in with less than 2 car lengths, I hit them…I have never been at a fault yet, because I have evidence they cut me off and there was not enough time to stop.

Lets just say my metal rack has a few scratches but other cars have been totaled…that said if traffic is really slow, then I’d be at fault but that slow their probably wouldn’t be more than 5 feet to squeeze in either.

And no I don’t intentionally hit the side slippers, but I’m not going to go all crazy and slam on the brake, risking jack knifing and all that crap to avoid hitting them either…its a lot like a deer, just run into them, don’t swerve or slam on the brake ( I pull a trailer most the time )

Thank you for providing the proof that most people don’t know how to merge. There are road signs in CO that make those very clear “Stay in lane to merge point then alternate”
