Connie: Michael's gone back to school? Elly: He left this morning with Deanna... I miss him already. Connie: I sure miss Lawrence. He'll be 23 soon, and he has a life of his own. Our boys are grown men now, El. Elly: I know, Connie. But how long will we still see that "baby" when we look at them? Connie: ...For as long as they call us "mom."
My youngest is 40 this year (2022), and he’ll always be my “little boy.”
