Michael: Dad, what are you going to do with the cache of old toys you found in the basement? John: Keep some, sell the rest. Michael: Well, I'd like to do a story on them before you part with any. There's something so romantic about toys. They capture your imagination, they keep you company - they're a precious part of everyone's childhood. John: I know. Too bad we don't really treasure them until we're all grown up!
I don’t have ANY of the toys from my childhood; so, I made a point of saving some of my children’s favorites. I also bought a couple of vintage ones from my time off Ebay. My kids enjoyed those for a time.
