For Better or For Worse by Lynn Johnston for August 03, 2001
Transcript:
Man: Years ago, the native people camped here. This is where summer foods were grown and gathered. In winter, the families moved down river where they would hunt and trap. April: Where were their houses? Man: They had portable ones, made from skins - and then, canvas. They also made lodges from logs and mosses. April: Why did they leave? Man: They didn't. Their spirits are in every animal, every rock and every tree. Girl: Whatcha doing, April? April: Listening.
We as white people suck. Badly.
