It's retrievable. Elly: What do you mean, "It's retrievable"? I have tried everything! April: Lemme get my friend Josh to come over. He's a greek god. Elly: It's no use. This thing is a useless piece of junk!!! Josh: Basically, Mrs. P., I'd say your hard drive needs a scan an' a defrag - or you may need to format the volume, reparition it and reinstall your O.S. But..my guess is that your primary master is majorly borked. Elly: So, what you're saying is, my computer is broken and my data is lost. Josh: That would be the case. Yes.
