We can live well on what we make now, Michael. You can quit your job at Portrait magazine. Michael: But...what if the freelance dries up? Deanna: Then, it dries up! But- right now you're drowning in it!!!

Seems it would make more sense to keep his steady job at Portrait mag, and only take on free-lance if he has time.
