April: It's mah birthday, an' I'm sayin' it LOUD, it's mah birthday, an' ah gotta be PROUD. I'm 16, I'm not a kid anymore, I'm gonna be driving with my foot to the floor. Gotta show the world that I'm in charge of mah stuff - I'm a woman! I'm a woman - an' I'm strong an' I'm tough, so watch me, baby - comin' outta my shell, yeah! Watch me, baby, gonna raise a little... hell-o, Mom! Elly: Your cake is ready. Happy birthday, April! Boy: She's 16, an' she's smokin'!! I mean that in an allegorical sense, sir. Cut up your cake, girl - an' let's party! April: Thanks for the gifts, everyone! The cake was great, Mom. We'll be back by one a.m. Elly: Have fun, honey. There she goes. It seems like yesterday she was just a baby. Now, she's a lovely young woman. John: Our children have all grown up, Elly. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Elly + John: WE DID IT!
