April: How's Grandpa, Liz? Elizabeth: He's awake, but not responding. Mom and Iris are with him. April: I wish he was just like he used to be. I want him back! Elizabeth: Me too. April: Do you still have his harmonica? I gave it to you when you went up north. Elizabeth: April -- I gave it to one of my students. April: But it was his! It's a family keepsake! Elizabeth: Jesse was a special kid. I wanted to give him something that meant a lot to me! April: Doesn't Grandpa mean a lot to you? Elizabeth: Don't make me feel guilty right now, April! April: OK -- then when?
I get why Liz gave it to Jesse, but it wasn’t hers to give away.
